Bio

Rosalie was born, raised and spent most of her life in Montana. She is the granddaughter of immigrant heritage from England and Italy. Having cousins in both countries, she has traveled abroad.

She was greatly influenced by her artist mother, Vivian Wildin Bianchi and encouraged to pursue her talent by a high school English teacher, Shirley Lurshen.

Rosalie received a BFA and a BA in Education from the University of Montana. She returned to school at MSU-Billings for refresher classes after raising her family. She now works as a professional artist in her Billings art studio.

Her strong use of line and knowledge of drawing is attributed to the influence of Don Bunse, Professor of Art, University of Montana. She has also been associated with Walter Hook, James Dew and Rudy Autio. Later she had a mentor association with Neil Jussela, MSU-Billings.
